Law and Society in Japan

　これまで日本法に関する英語の書籍は乏しく、特に日本人の研究者が執筆に関与したものはごくわずかしか存在しなかった。日本の大学で教鞭をとる研究者たちが協同して、日本の社会や法制度について初学者にも分かりやすく解説した英語テキストを刊行。
　留学生のほか、日本とのビジネスに携わるビジネスパーソンも必携の一冊。

　　English-language books on Japanese law have long been limited, and only a handful have involved Japanese scholars as contributors. This new volume, written collaboratively by leading researchers teaching at universities in Japan, offers an accessible introduction to Japan’s legal system and society from a socio-legal perspective.
　　It is designed to be easily understood by beginners, while also providing valuable insights for those studying Japanese law and society, as well as for professionals and businesses engaged with Japan.
